About
Kate is an award winning Actor, Singer, Beatboxer and Voice Coach from South London. She loves telling stories and is always most drawn to projects, film, tv and books that share human stories to relate to or enlighten its audience.
Since realising she wanted to perform, Kate spent years looking for new training and performance opportunities becoming a member the National Youth Theatre, The Lyric Hammersmith’s Young Ensemble and the BAC Beatbox Academy, a company she has gone onto create and tour shows with whilst facilitating the weekly sessions alongside the multi-award winning theatre practitioner and performer Conrad Murray.
Kate graduated from Italia Conti with a First-Class BA Hons Acting Degree, as a Carlton Hobbs Competition runner up and Alan Bates Award finalist. Since, she has worked across many areas of performance in multiple venues with the likes of The Globe Theatre, the National theatre and Bill Kenwright Limited and BBC Radio.
Kate has been teaching drama to young people for nearly 10 years covering a wide range of performance styles and techniques. Alongside, she has facilitated workshops on acting, beatboxing and hip-hop theatre with Beats & Elements at Mountview. With a love of the human voice, she has been teaching Elocution for almost 3 years with The Elocution Coach and has voice coached on various projects she has been involved in both as a performer and facilitator.
